1. Who we are
Another Seoul is a free, browser-based virtual trip to Korea. Operator and privacy officer: Hyojae Jung (정효재). Contact: yozi999a@gmail.com.
2. What we collect and why
| Data | Why | Where / how long |
|---|---|---|
| Nickname, character look, position and emotes while you play | To show you to other players in real time | Passed through our realtime service while you are online; not stored |
| Chat messages | To show them to players near you | Passed through while online; not stored on our servers |
| Guest account ID (random, no name or email) | To keep your game save | Until you ask us to delete it |
| If you link or sign in with Google: your Google email address, name and account ID (no password) | So you can sign in and load your save on other devices | On our server for your account, until you ask us to delete it |
| Game save: coins, items, stamps, daily check-in, character, hat, home decoration, shopping bag, settings, your block list and reports you made (including the reported person's last chat lines) | So your progress isn't lost | On your device, and on our server for your account, until deleted |
| Technical logs (IP address, browser type, time) | Security and keeping the service running | Kept by our service providers for a limited time |
We do not ask for your real name, phone number or address, and we don't sell personal data. Purchases in the game are virtual only: there are no real payments. Practice voice recordings in the restaurant stay on your device. They are never uploaded.
3. Service providers
Supabase (accounts, saves, realtime), Google (sign-in, only if you choose it) and GitHub Pages (website hosting). Their servers may be outside your country, including the United States.
4. Your choices and rights
You can ask to see, correct or delete your data at yozi999a@gmail.com. Clearing your browser data removes the copy on your device. A guest account can't be recovered after that unless it was linked to a login.
5. Children
The service is not directed at children under 14. If you are under 14, please use it with a parent or guardian.
6. Changes
